Design and experimental validation stages of an independent front suspension (IFS) that is designed for truck tractors articulated commercial vehicles are summarised. Firstly, the geometry, which satisfies required conditions minimum deviation camber angle track width during wheel travel, obtained within given design volume by using Multibody Systems (MBS) Experiments (DOE) approaches. Subsequently, kinetic analysis carried out system critical loads may act on structural elements determined. Taking these into account, mechanical performed.
